Get me on Board

If you have had a good rummage through this site, I hope you now have an insight into my capabilities. You may also have identified some specific subjects you would like to talk about. If you’re looking to get me on board, why not put me to the test, at no cost, by both of us speculating an hour of our time to talk about your business. Please drop me a line to schedule a call. Simple as that.

In a nutshell the typical order of ceremonies is this:

  1. informal conversation
I would like to hear about your business and what you would like to achieve with it. Some people have a clear idea, which is great, but a common motive for calling me is not actually being sure about what to do next. If the latter is the case, let me inspire you with some ideas.
  2. an introductory meeting
I would like to see what you do, who you do it with and how you do it. This meeting – or meetings – will determine whether we would like to work together. If we would, you will appoint me as your Virtual Chairman.
  3. business planning
My method of business planning is a no-nonsense road map from where you are to where you want to be. We will prepare the plan together, with you and/or your team providing the information, or access to the information, for me to prepare your plan. The plan is what you and your Board will direct with my support.
  4. plan monitoring and support
The plan is a living document and one of its components is the dashboard for real-time reporting. This is the tool with which we will drive and monitor the plan. We will meet up to 12 times a year to discuss progress but we will be watching the dashboard daily. The main driver for meetings and conversations will be progress of the plan.

The cost is annual, paid monthly, and can be as little as equivalent to the salary of an office administrator. There would be no point, for either of us, if my involvement just adds to your overhead: we must be able to generate a multiple of my cost within a year. From the outset – our first informal conversation – we will be considering this question together.

I also sell my time by the hour or by the day – one client in New Zealand bought one hour on Skype, recorded the conversation,  and uses the video for reference.

Any questions, please just ask!
